Most people have at least heard of the benefit of fat gripped bars when lifting and I had previously been wrapping a towel around bar, which worked reasonably well.Rating
But these are so much better, I had actually tried to get some of these when they first came out but no one in NZ had them.
They activate your muscles so much more, especially in your fore-arms, but everything activates more.
You will find you are actually able to lift only a lower weight, due to the extra activation, but thats great news, especially if you lifts start getting quite high, where you have more chance of injury. I ordered these but had nooo idea how effective they'd be. They make you feel like a FOOL in the gym because when you use them it takes so much out of your grip/forearm strength that you can't lift as much as you normally do. The beautiful thing is, when you go back to lifting a weight with a normal sized bar again, its a lot easier!Rating
