I bought the Life Gear Revolution Bike when I was told I had arthritis in my knee - a few weeks before we were due to do a major walk. My doctor said cycling would help, and it certainly did. I did a demanding three day walk with no problems, and no after-effects.
The bike lives in our sitting room so it's impossible to ignore - That walk is over but I'm still biking; I have no knee pain - and am looking forward to more walking adventures - particularly on some sections of Te Araroa - the Long Trail.
I love that the bike is so quiet - I can bike and watch TV,( and so can anyone else,) without being distracted by the sound of pedalling!

My teenage daughter had knee surgery in December 2011, so I purchased the Revoulution bike, so she could start a cycle programe to build up and stengthen the knee muscle area. She now cycles twice a day at 20 minutes at each time, and the knee is getting stronger every day. I myself will be having total knee replacement surgery at some stage in 2012, so I will be also be using our Revolution bike to help me recover and strenghthen my knee muscle area Again, we have made an excellent purchase from Number One Fitness. Having recently purchased one of your LifeGear-Revolution Bikes, I must say that it has taken prime place in my lounge.....I can now do my exercise pain-free while watching my favorite TV programmes without feeling guilty!!! I really like the indicator that measures how many calories I am burning - encourages me to keep upping the tally!! Also (and a huge plus for me) is the fact that exercising on the LifeGear Revolution Bike means NO more aching knees and ankles that I used to endure after partaking in daily 5 - 8km walks.........so for me the purchase of this bike has been a huge break-through in my daily exercise programme......Kilos are disappearing consistantly since I made this purchase!!!! After being a member of a gym for over 10 years, I had a knee injury and my weight started creeping up. Going back to the gym was not an option and my physio suggested using an exercise bike for a few minutes and building it up to about 20 mts to help the knee move. I didnt want to spend a fortune on the gym so bought my exercise bike from No 1 Fitness as a Christmas present to myself. I couldnt even do 1 mt initially as my knee was so bad but I managed to work out and build my timing up to about 20 mts. Now I watch TV and cycle and I have already saved the cost of the bike as I havent paid gym fees. Also this is the first year that I have not put on any weight during Christmas and I have actually lost a few kilos despite my lack of a gym programme. Have been trying to get fitter & loose weight, but sometimes my hours of work or the weather meant I wasn't able to get out to walk like I wanted. I'm very satisfied with the purchase of the Life Gear Revolution Bike.
Before the purchase I done some research on it and there was a bit of uneasy feeling based on 'how quiet it is'. Due to the real good price I decided to make the purchase. I received the bike really quickly (which was a great, as normally online purchases can take a while before it gets delivered - acceptance of payment, dispatch from warehouse, shipping....) but I really was pleasantly surprised when it got delivered quicker than I thought. My LifeGear-Revolution Bike is "quietly" asisting with my planned fitness schedule. I say "quietly" for the reson is that the bike is quiet!! I exercise at home and nobody knows. To me that is an important quality of the bike. Assembling the bike was relatively easy, although I did have difficulty holding the wires in place for connection to the computer. The construction is solid, however not weighty or cumbersome so the machine may be moved easily. It is attractive and invites people to sit on it - and start pedalling!!

I got the bike 4 weeks after I gave birth to my first baby. It was so good to be able to get straight into some gentle exercise in those early weeks. I could stay warm and dry indoors and get some exercise while baby was sleeping. I've gradually increased the intensity and duration of my exercise and I'm getting great results. I was so pleased with the bike I recommended it to my Dad and he got one a couple of weeks after me. We've been having 'first to 1000km races' on it for the last couple of months. The bike was delivered within 3 days and I was able to get cycling straight away as it was so easy to assemble. All that was required was in the box and the instructions were easy to follow. The bike looks really sleek, better than the $500 one I was renting before and smaller too so it fits nicely in the corner of my bedroom.

The seat is comfortable, no slipping and the cycling movement is smooth also. I just use the bike for burning kj and the bike has a counter for this and for speed and distance and time. Amazing value, everyone should own one! (Posted on 12/05/11)

Very pleased with myself for chosing this particular bike. Good price to start with, then relatively easy to put together. All parts were sent. Have had other exercise machines and programmes that don't really suit for one reason or another eg hard on the back, dependant on the weather or just boring, but this revolution bike is just the ticket for my sister and me. My husband and I are both in our late 60s, and are aware that we need to do regular exercise. Our machine sits in the garage looking out a window onto a busy street. We track what we are doing and what is going on in the street at the same time, resulting in an interesting way to maintain our fitness. For a start it was delivered to my door the very next day which I thought was incredible for a delivery service. The bike itself is an excellent piece of home exercise equipment. I got this bike because I needed to get fitter and also have a weight problem. I hate biking so felt a little negative about how effective it would be. I have been pleasantly surprised - the seat is soft - I can alter the tension and know just how long I have been working on it. It is great to put in front of t.v. or even to sit and read a book and not only have my sore knees improved, I can walk further comfortably and have lost a few kgs!
