What a great bike! It has helped me loss weight and also tighten my central core as I have an ongoing lower back injury and this was a great way to exercise without the additional strain.

In relation to the bikes features it has a number of built in programs but you can also build in your own personal ones to use repeatedly and try and go faster or burn more calories. The bike also allows for taller people; I am six foot and have found the adjustable seat height allows me to get the right angle with my legs.

I found the bike so easy to use I still use it 4 - 5 times a week. (Posted on 30/01/12)

I was so impressed how easy this was. I went to the showroom to view the quality of the bike, the staff were great and informative. Ordered it on the 0800 number and was delivered in 3 days!!

Excellent bike, really easy to assemble, comfy seat and all the settings you need. Have recommended to a few people & would definitely purchase from No 1. again.

I previously bought a bike from another distributor which was around the same price as the wholesale price on this bike but what a difference!! The Tornado XRS bike is more sturdy and because the pedals are connected to the fly wheel it seems to provide a better workout.
I am using this bike to regain some cardio fitness lost after a few months away from exercise due to caring for my terminally ill Mum. I started using it on the 15th January and have worked back up to now being able to cycle for 36 mins - low resistance and then jump on my Rowing Machine afterwards for 40 mins. An investment worth making but I have a lot of work to do yet.
NOTE: This bike is quite a bit bulkier than my last so not so easy for a woman to move in and out of the house. I know they are not designed to be moved but it's nice to cycle outside in the summer. Would highly recommend this cycle. (Posted on 30/01/12)

The online web page was so easy to use and I had no problems purchasing the bike, it arrived within 5 days which was great as there was a public holiday, and i thought it would be delayed. The price of the bike surprised me as it is of excellent quality, it was easy to assemble and is a fantastic bike to use. I love all the extras that this bike offers that other bikes of similar price from other companies dont. I am so very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from Number One fitness again. The Tornado XRS is a sound bike and I have found it very effective in my daily exercise routine to regain strength following a total knee replacement. Initially the bike had arrived damaged but this was rectified by the Auckland technician who went out of his way and lent me another Exercycle until mine had been repaired.

Since purchasing this item have had huge fun on it as have the children - its my first exercise bike that I have felt comfortable on. Easy to assemble in fact my grandson 10 and his sister 6, did a great job of putting it together - I just checked to make sure everything was in place when they finished. How easy was that!! My feet started to dissappear from view as I ballooned up to 94kg. My partner was going the same way. We bought the bike in early August and put it in the sitting room infront of the telly. I do 20mins every morning watching the news, burning 190 calories a day. 6 weeks later and between us we have lost an amazing 12kg. It makes almost no noise so it doesn't disturb anyones' enjoyment. Very pleased with the bike i received, especially when im too lazy to hit the gym. The features are very useful, as my father needs to keep monitoring his heart rate and what not due to him being close to having diabetes. Having been a regular gym-goer for years, I was skeptical about a 'home' Exercycle but was very happily surprised at the quality of this bike. It is very sturdy and has a great flywheel action, smooth and well balanced. Easy to assemble and very well made. A bike that has it all. Sturdy and user friendly, wide choice of programmes including the 'press and go' favourite of mine! Clear, easy to use display. Have not used it to its full potential yet but have read the manual and all seems relatively straight forward (It is not the bike that has prevented this lack of advanced use but rather the rider's enthusiasm!) I have been very pleased with my Tornado bike. I felt it was in an affordable price range, and I was very pleased with its quality once it arrived. Its assembly was straight forward.
I have appreciated the following features: drink bottle holder, display panel showing distance cycled, time taken, calories used etc.
The bike although primarily bought for myself, has been able to be used by all members of the family, who also enjoy using it. Visitors to our home who own an exercise bike of a different brand, described our Tornado as "flash" when they saw it. (Posted on 5/05/11)

Very pleased with my purchase which was quickly processed and dispatched.

This is a solid bike and has a smooth pedaling action.
The seat is comfortable and the height can be quickly adjusted if like us you have several people using the bike.
The computer has a nice set of programs that adjust the resistance during the workout and provides the usual stats on distance, speed, calories etc. The built in pulse monitor is useful and it has a nice recovery mode that determines how well your heart-rate recovers at the end of your workout. Was worried about having a cheap bike that was going to be unstable - while you get what you pay for - for this price you are getting a very good, steady bike I was pleasantly surprised with the smoothness of the pedaling and has so far been quite durable - seat average to good also as a bonus. Good quality bike, took a little time to put together but runs smoothly and quietly. Good range of exercise programmes; however pulse rate recovery sometimes does not function (I think the button on the electronic pad behind may be slightly misaligned).

This bike is really quiet and smooth when used. It has lots of useful features and is quite comfortable and stable when in use. After being worried about stability and how smooth the peddling is of 'cheaper' bikes I was happy to know that this is a very happy medium. Bike is very stable, very nice to pedal one and isn't 'jumpy' like other bikes can be.

Would recommend to the buyers that want a bike at home that is similar to a bike from the gym.
