Until October last year, I had been a member of a certain well known gym franchise for 21 years and then, suddenly, I was over it. I bought the X-treme Sp;in Bike mostly based on its good reviews and I have not been disappointed. It was competively priced, it arrived promptly and it was very easy to assemble. The bike takes up very little room, is comfortable and the on-board computer allows you to set goals pertaining to your workout. With my MP3 player plugged into my ears, I can replicate those spin classes I used to do (at before mentioned gym) without any on-going costs. Over all I totally reccommend this bike. One of the BEST purchases i've ever bought!!! As I am a big man, I have to choose carefully on what machinery I buy. This bike is strong, sturdy, easy to assemble. I have it set up in my lounge so I can work out whenever I want to. I just put a cycle fitness programme on my laptop, place it on the handgrips on the front of the bike and away I go!!! Both myself and wife have so far clocked up over 700km on the spin bike, It is a fantactic add on to help with my pre season football training, Both my wife and I have started a weight loss plan and the bike is now a add on with the Tread mill we purchased a long time ago. The spin bike has do exactly what the sales team at Number 1 Fitness said it would do, if not it has performed above the agreed usage it was purchased for, If we were lucky enough to win, We will be heading straight back to Number ! Turned up yesterday, took about an hour to put together with a bit of help from my 2 labrador puppies.

Spent about 20 minutes ( 10km ) on it after returning from squash and was a wet dripping mess at the end of it. As I am about 120kg and 193cm I was expecting to do a bit of aftermarket panel beating to make the bike fit but it is fine at full extension on the seat post. Good buy and as my missus is witholding my beer until I have done my daily exercise then it can only be good for me :-) (Posted on 22/12/11)

I bought the bike for my partner as I got a rower at the same time. My partner was spending plenty on spin classes at the gym because she loves that form of exercise. It was fairly costly and along with the home gym and rower we purchased it now costs us less a week to have all that gear than a gym membership. I purchased the X-tream spin bike weighing in at 140'ish Kg's looking at alot of the other bikes they were weight restricted and this one was for up to 150Kg. I purchased with some reservation that I would be to big. Post order the bike arrived very quickly and was deliverd exactly per the instructions. During assembly (which was very simple) the weight of the bike and just how solid it was became apparent, I had nothing to worry about.

The bike is fantastic, both my wife and I use it often, its solid, and well worth the purchase. For a totally electronic transaction you can trust I would recomend No 1 fitness, and no I don't get paid to say this!!! Thank you. (Posted on 22/09/11)

Super keen to get spin bike, so picked up from courier depo, after getting home lifted box out of car by myself (trying to be he-man) and crunch there went my shoulder :-(, so several weeks of pyhsio later and now it's starting to get back to mostly normal, joy. My doctor said "lose weight and get fit" so the serch began for the right equipment. We by-passed the "regular" exercise bike and went for the spin bike. (Might as well think ahead for when we are fit and want to get "ironman fit") The X-treme Spin Bike was the one that fit our needs perfectly and no need for expensive gym memberships. The communication from the company was first rate and the delivery of the bike was spot on. The bike was so easy to assemble that even I could do it without my wifes help, a first too by the way. The bike has been largely responsible for me losing 13kg in 50 days as well as helping my fitness level rise to where I was when I was 25. This piece of equipment for once has not just been something for me to hang my clothes on, as i am not a fan of running i decided to give spin a try and totally enjoyed it now with thanks to number one fitness i can do it at home while watching my fav programmes. I bike most nights and my partner even uses it occasionally whilst having a beer which fits nicely in the drink bottle holder. The only thing i found with this bike is the handle bars could do with being able to go a bit higher but apart from that it is an excellent all round easy to use bike. I searched and researched the market for months before making a decision on which spin bike I should buy. After finding this model I knew I had found what I was looking for! The X-treme spin bike has the features and the look of other spin bikes which sell for double or even triple the price of this model. After making the purchase it arrived promptly. To my surprise it was incredibly easy to setup, in fact, there was very little to do at all! The real test however was trying it out. The X-treme spin bike is very comfortable and sturdy and does what is supposed to do very well. It also has a much higher weight limit than other models available for a similar price. I was 118kg when I purchased the X-treme spin bike, I am now down to 106kg and could not have done it without the aid of the X-treme spin bike. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a top notch, great quality spin bike at an affordable price!

Sometimes you get more than you expected and this is one of those rare buys. Really well made heavy duty bike and it looks the business as well...great for impressing friends. I have had no problems with my bike, its being used as a part of my cardio regimen with 500km on the clock so far. My only concern is I am hoping a bit more effort will see my great girth of stomach reduce somewhat as I find when seated the old breathing is a bit of a bear trying to hold the handles in anything but the closest of positions. I had been looking for a good affordable bike for a month and when I found this web site and spin bike so so pleased. the x-treme spin bike that I purchased was easy to assemble, great quality, easy to move and use. I love this bike. I do a good ride every morning while the kids are having breakfast and I feel great. It took my bumb a while to adjust as the seat was a bit uncomfortable but know you can't get me off the bike. If you want an easy ride or hard going sweet dripping ride this is the bike for you. If you want a relaxed easy workout just take the tension off , put you favourite telly show on and peddle away... but if your wanting something a bit more intense twist that tension nob up and feel the burn!

Awesome bike if your wanting to loose those extras or simply just wanting a workout. Very high quality and very easy to wheel around. All the equipment needed to set it up is included and it's a pretty basic set up.

(1) Assembly was so simple I was impressed that I was able to put the bike together without any help from a man. (2) the bike looks as good as the pics and it came with everything, even the drink bottle (3) seat height and hand adjustments again, easy to operate. A great bike that makes exercise enjoyable. Easy to assemble. Easy to operate and exactlly like the spin bike you would find at the gym. Just jump on and away you go. Great for the cold winter days/nights or when you are running short on time and want to get a quick work out in. Or set it up in front of the tele and watch a movie while you burn those calories away. Would recomend as an addition to what ever your training programme is. Definately helps with cross training. A good looking piece of equipment that has impressed all visitors. Looks aside, it was easy to put together for a non technical female like me, and it is of solid design - it hasn't thrown me off during any aftershocks.... Bike arrived the day after I purchased it via the internet - very prompt !!!

The bike is excellent and runs well. Great over winter when the weather is not too good. Solid bike, runs smooth and the computer is great to have for timing etc.

Gave it 4 stars as the seat is a little uncomfortable (soft office worker), although after talking to a few people it appears this is generally the case (have to wear the proper cyclist pants which I didn't have). (Posted on 28/04/11)
