An excellent addition to your home gym or a fantastic piece of equipment to start off with. I tend to use it several times during my workout. It's a great warm up and cool down machine too. I used to focus too much on my treadmill which no matter how much I tried to avoid - gave me ankle issues when I would run for longer periods. With the Cyclone Air Rower, I now alternate more frequently between my equipment - the Air Rower's fluid movement can give you that cardio workout without putting strain on your joints and limbs which is a bonus for people like myself. it took us sometime to decide what piece of equipment we would buy and where we would buy it. It has been a good decision for us both. We are unable to go to a gym, so walk everyday. we wanted a piece of equipment that targeted meany of the body's muscles. We have been very happy with our choice (my wife is in her 60's). We took sometime to decide what piece of equipment we wanted and where we would buy it from. My wife is 62yrs young and likes to keep fit. She doesn't like going to the gym, so walks most days. My wife and i are both over 80 .
I have been going to gym for many years, but decided that I would be better off spending the membership fees in setting up a home gym that included a rowing machine .My wife has had a recent knee joint replacement and we hoped that she also would benefit. We went to the Auckland showroom to check things out .
The lady helping us was excellent, and made sure that my wife not only knew how to operate the rower, but also that is was comfortable and easy to use. After having the rower for a few months, we can both say that it fulfils our expectations. (Posted on 29/09/11)

I tore out an add from the newspaper for a rowing machine and weeks latter actually rang about it. The salesman who helped me was genuine and advised why not to purchase one model vs why the one I did purchase would be better for my circumstances. So easily with a credit card over the phone we organised to send my fit active 75 year old father whos blind a rowing machine and have it delievered to Oamaru. The courier who delivered it was as enthusiastic about rowers and talked up how great they are to him and my mother begrugingly helped to assemble it so long as it stays in the spare room , and my Dad is very happy. He has wanted one for years but was unable to get out and get one. Fitness is important for him and other than dangerous cycling and tramping with a South Island Blind Club he is very restricted, so this is far more appreciated than most purchases. After 22 years of not exercising I have been feeling so unhealthy. I really didn't believe a rower would do that much for me but it's my new best friend! It works great and I was totally impressed that the sales guy talked me out of the more expensive model because he believed this was a better fit for me. That of course helped in my decision to purchase two other fitness machines as well. They are all great and my partner and I are getting so much use from them.

Rower arrived quickly , well packed, had good instruction book which was easy to understand. Installation of the rower was therefore nice and easy. Rower is used by my wife and I and we both are enjoying the benefits this form of exercise is giving us. I ordered this rower predominantly because of cost but also because it offered gm quality chain drive mechanism rather than the unpredictable magnetic resistance offered by other makes at similar prices. This machine is absolutly gym quality with very little assembly required it is sturdy with a solid feel and the manual comes with correct use explanaitions and excerises. Delivery was fast even on rural delivery.

Was skeptical about purchasing a rower that was so cheap without seeing it. I definitely take that comment back now however!! Is a great rower, entry level price but for a commercial quality machine. Is tough and made of quality materials and smooth when using (compared to other cheaper models). This was the best buy compared to going to a gym for an overall workout, as I cannot manage gym machines with my rheumatoid arthritis. I do my 1 kilometre each morning and that doesn't sound much but it is fantastic to do do such a simple workout in the privacy of your own home and the machine is comfortable and so easy to use. I bought this rower several months ago, and really enjoy using it. I have often considered buying one, but a foot injury meant that having a rower at home was finally a reasonable option!
As an absolute beginner, it suits me fine. It was simple to put together on my own, and doesn't take up too much space in my spare room. It is as noisy as I had expected it to be, considering that it is an air-rower! It gives a good workout, much better than a magnetic rower.
One small critique is that there isn't enough room at the front of the stroke to be able to get a good push-off with the legs... there isn't room for a smooth, complete range of motion, which mostly limits the workout to being more upper body than lower. This might frustrate more experienced rowers, but for me it is just fine. I would absolutely recommend it. (Posted on 28/04/11)

Within a few hours of recieiving my rower, I had it assembled and in action. The results achieved were what I wanted so that I now feel happy exercising with people much younger than myself.
