The adidas Utility Bench takes its key influences from the type of benches you find in gyms. The upholstery is deep high grade foam with square edges and the back pad can be adjusted into multiple positions including an optimal decline feature. The decline position is perhaps overlooked but it is the easiest way of targeting specific muscles in the chest and upper body.

With comfort in mind, the seat is ergonomically designed with a slight curve and its heavy duty steel frame ensures it stands up to frequent use.

Key Features:

  • Boxed upholstery with 65mm high density foam.
  • Ergonomically designed curved seat padding for extra comfort with two large roller pads.
  • Heavy duty and scratch resistant steel frame.
  • Incline, decline and flat back pad adjustment.
  • Max user weight 215kg (including User).

Working in the three key positions (flat, incline and decline) you can hit numerous muscles in your upper body, and the seat pad tapers in at the top to enable a good range of motion through the shoulder girdle during pec flys, shoulder presses and pullovers. Plus, the Utility Bench can be used from both ends which means you'll be able to perform even more dumbbell and bodyweight exercises to mix up your weight training.

Sturdy and compact bench. Great for my garage gym

Great bench in terms of value for functionality. Sturdy and handles my 100kg weight pretty well. Downvote is for the minor design & quality issues. From a quality perspective the metal work isn't very precise so when I adjust the bench I've got to ensure that it fit's in correctly as it's off-center by default. Also ideally you'd want rubber soles at the bottom of the bench so it doesn't slide but under weight it's fine. Overall still highly recommended for a garage gym.

This bench is simple and easy to assemble. I needed something somewhat small to fit in my apartment. The adjustments are good, especially the decline. Both bench parts are adjustable. Big selling point for me is that it can be used for a variety of exercises and as a flat bench.
